The volunteers participate in a capture mission; research is done to confirm the effect of catnip on lions; devastating poaching case uncovered; bush wildfire sends everyone running.

Lauren and the volunteers follow 2 lions to observe them hunting; the volunteers build a boma to trap prey for the Ngamo pride.
